Welcome to our mission!

 Welcome to the Mission Possible website. At this website you can find a short info about the project Mission Possible, which takes place in the Czech Republic in Hradek nad Nisou near to the city Liberec. You can as well find out, who will be involved (partners and participants) and who is part of the team that is organising the project. Fotos and videos can be found in media (there be more every day of our project). 

Before you move to these sections here is the basic answers of why the project takes place:

What
An intercultural meeting, actually a training course, on the topic of intercultural learning and project management 

When
3-11.7.2011, actually 7 full days of learning in nonformal settings and exploring a Czech, German, Polish border area called Euroregion Nisa.

For whom
For youth workers and youth leaders that want to run intercultural projects/initiatives targeted mainly at young people
24 participants from 10 countries

Why
Because we believe that such meetings:
Make international cooperation of young people more effective
Young leaders and youth workers need project managemnt skills to be able to run international projects as well as the local ones
Can give a life experience that changes stereotypes about other nations in our heads

Where
In Hradek nad Nisou. Because approch and results of the work of the mayor Martin Půta and the town local council are for as a brilliant exapmle of how a municipality should work. Because Hrádek nad Nisou is 2 km from the borderline with Germany and Poland and is a part of Euroregion Nisa and activities done here are a good pracice on how to use the intercultural capacity over the border.
